ISSNIP 2004 special session on
Biosignal Processing

Special Session Chair: Dinesh K Kumar, RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia.

Call for Papers

Analysis of biological signals is a very important area of research. It is important for scientific, commercial and social advancements. With growing concern for our society with health of the population and cost of delivery, it is one of the fastest growing fields. This field provides real life applications of signal processing technologies and is also the base for development of new techniques.

We would like to invite you to submit your research papers in the following and other similar areas:

  1. Analysis of bioelectric signals such as ECG, EMG, EEG for applications such as de-noising, improving reliability, diagnostics, etc.

  1. Modeling of bioelectric signals.

  1. Use of intelligent and iterative signal processing and classification tools for bioelectric signals.

  1. Signal Analysis applied to human motor control.

  1. Bio-signal analysis for disability assist tools.

Workshop structure and attendance

The Special Session will mainly comprise invited papers from researchers and scientists working on sensor networks and pervasive computing.  Papers will be reviewed and revised if needed. The final papers should be ready by September 1, 2004. For more information please contact Dr. Dinesh K Kumar at dinesh  (@)  rmit.edu.au
