Call for Posters

 

The third International Conference on Intelligent Sensors, Sensor Networks and Information Processing (ISSNIP 2007) will be held during December 3rd to 6th, 2007 in Melbourne, Australia. This event is running under the umbrella of the ARC Research Network on Intelligent Sensors, Sensor Networks and Information Processing (www.sensornetworks.net.au).

The ISSNIP 2007 poster session will provides an excellent opportunity for authors to present their work in an informal and interactive setting. This provides an opportunity for the authors to communicate their work in progress with the conference attendees and may lead to possible future collaborations.

Posters addressing the following areas (but not limited to) are invited:

  • Sensor Fusion and Tracking
  • Sensor Network Management
  • Security in Sensor Networks
  • Computational Intelligence in Sensor Networks
  • Optimisation in Sensor Networks
  • Intelligent Sensors and Sensors on Grid
  • Localisation in Sensor Networks
  • Information Processing in Sensor Networks
  • Sensor Network Architectures and Protocols
  • Applications: Health care Sensor Networks, Environmental Sensor Networks, Defense Sensor Networks, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, Industrial Applications
  • Topics in the symposia of ISSNIP 2007

An abstract of accepted posters (maximum 500 words) will appear in the book of abstracts distributed to the conference attendees. Students of accepted posters will become eligible for ISSNIP student membership program. ISSNIP student membership program enables members to participate in various ISSNIP organized activities through out the year, such as special invited workshops, summer schools and ISSNIP student bursary schemes (see www.sensornetworks.net.au for past activities of ISSNIP). There will be 30 registration scholarships available for accepted student posters.

Initial submission: An abstract of maximum two A4 pages should be sent to sra [at] ee (d0t) unimelb (d ot) edu (.) au. The submission should contain the following: Title of the poster, Author names, Affiliations, Student or ECR (Early Career Researcher), Supervisor name (if the supervisor author is a part of ISSNIP).

Important dates:

  • Initial Abstract: 5th October, 2007 8th October, 2007.
  • Acceptance notification: within 1 week from the submission date.
  • Final Abstract: 13th October, 2007.
