Accepted Papers
All accepted full-paper submissions, that are presented at
the conference will be published in the conference
proceedings and on IEEE Xplore. This includes those full
papers selected for poster presentation. In the
proceedings no distinction will be made between those
papers selected for oral presentation and those selected
for poster presentation.
Presentation guidelines
Oral Presentations:
The technical program consists of 20 minute slots for each
oral presentation. This should include approximately 15
minutes for the oral presentation plus 3 minutes for
questions and 2 minutes for speaker changeover. In
preparing your slides, use large fonts so they can be
easily read (typically 18-20 point fonts), noting that
slides should not be crowded by text.
Technical session rooms will be equipped with a laptop
computer, LCD projector, microphone and laser pointer. On
the computer (PC) Windows XP, MS Power Point (English),
and Acrobat Reader will be installed. The presentations
should be downloaded from an USB flash memory or CD ROM
well in advance before the respective session, so you will
have enough time to cope with any possible technical
problems. If you need to use your own laptop, please test
this prior to the commencement of the session. The time
for installing and de-installing your laptop should be
subtracted from your presentation time.
Poster Presentations:
Each full-paper poster presenter will be provided with a
1.2m by 2.0m vertical board. This can accommodate A0 size
paper in portrait (preferable) or landscape orientation.
You may prepare your posters in A0 or A1 size paper.
The paper title, author(s) name(s) and affiliation(s)
should be readable from a distance of a few metres.
Posters should not be crowded with text.
It is required for posters be put up during in the time
immediately prior to the poster session. Materials to
attach the posters to the boards will be available at the
conference venue.
