The Sixth International Conference on Intelligent Sensors, Sensor Networks and Information Processing (ISSNIP 2010) held under the umbrella of the ARC Research Network on ISSNIP is an annual forum for sensor network research. Recent advances in both theory and applications of intelligent sensors and smart systems in diverse areas ranging from manufacturing and defence to medical science and environmental monitoring will be presented by the leading researchers in the field. The conference will be held in Brisbane, Australia during the 7th-10th of December 2010.

Papers are sought addressing the theory, implementation, and applications of intelligent sensors, sensor networks, and intelligent information processing systems. Topics include:

  • Sensor Network Security
  • Fault Tolerance and Identification
  • Network Scheduling and Optimization
  • Networked Sensing and Control
  • Sensor Fusion, Tracking and Localization
  • Embedded Software for Sensor Networks
  • Protocols in Sensor Networks
  • Energy Efficiency and Management
  • Multimedia Sensor Network
  • Sensor Networks for Smart Grids
  • Environmental Monitoring
  • Applications of Sensor Networks in Healthcare, Infrastructure, Defence and Environment
