ISSNIP 2011 * ADELAIDE

Visa Info

All visitors to Australia must have a valid visa. For many visitors this can be obtained online at the ETA website. Please contact us by e-mail if you require an invitation letter to attend the conference, to assist with your visa application. It is important that you apply for your visas well in advance of anticipated travel.

Letter of Invitation

FOR CONFERENCE CHAIRS, TECHNICAL COMMITTEE MEMBERS, AND AUTHORS: Individuals requiring letters of invitation to obtain travel visas must be listed on a paper or in the program to receive an invitation letter. If you are listed in the conference program, and are in need of an Official Invitation Letter from ISSNIP for visa application purposes, please fill out and send the Invitation Letter Request Form.

• Please fill out a separate form for each person requesting a letter.
Your name must be listed exactly as it appears on your passport. Any differences between the name on your passport and the name on your invitation letter or other documentation could lead to a delay and/or denial of your visa.
• Send electronically to email address on form or fax Attention Kellie Bartlam on +6 8 8302 5476 • All letters of invitation will be sent by email (as a PDF attachment) • Please allow up to 15 business days to process your request.
• ISSNIP is unable to contact Embassies in support of an individual attempting to gain entry to attend an ISSNIP meeting.

We recommend that you secure your travel visa before registering for the conference as cancellations after the preregistration cut off may result in a cancellation fee.

Note that the person requesting the visa letter should be registered for the ISSNIP 2011 conference.

Further information on the types of visa available can be found here. Participants should be aware of the health requirements for travel to Australia before they lodge their visa applications.
